How to: Select an entire row or column of controls on a report.
Solution:
In the Report Design view, select the row or column of controls by placing the cursor in the ruler above or beside the form and click the in the ruler above the desired column or beside the desired row.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Report' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired report from the list box. (The selected report is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'. (The selected report appears in the Design view AND the floating Toolbox appears.)
5) To select an entire row of controls:
a) Move the cursor in the vertical ruler area left of the report. (The cursor becomes a right pointing black arrow.)

b) Click in the ruler area left of the row of controls to be selected. (The controls in that row are all selected and handles appear around each box.)

6) To select an entire column of controls:
a) Move the cursor in the horizontal ruler area above the report. (The cursor becomes a down-pointing black arrow.)

b) Click in the ruler area above the column of controls to be selected. (The controls in that column are all selected and handles appear around each box.)

NOTE: If any part of a control is beneath the selected column, that control is selected.
